  2. Time utilization or availability chart in timesheet view

    I'd really like to have a timeline bar along the right side (don't actually care about specific mechanism, but bear with me to get the basic idea). Goal is it would show what times that day I had already tracked, and what, if any, time slots I have not tracked, that would make it really easy to see if I forgot to enter time for a period.   4. List the Start/End of dates for tasks in Time Entry View

    Is it possible to generate a list of time entries (like Track-It Light 200x) in order to list each records WITH Start/End for each task ? The problem is : if a user have to change repeatedly his Start/End tasks, he need to create a report and this way is too slow to complete/modify his entries.

  5. Limit number of charcters in Description Fields.

    Establish a character limitation in the task description field. Several folks continue writing paragraphs of information in this field causing reports to be too long for these individuals compared to everyone else.

  8. Allow a Project Phase selection

    We are an engineering firm and our projects always have different phases (phases vary from project to project). It would be extremely beneficial if we could add a Phase with a title/description unique to that project, rather than a generic one that is assigned using the tasks groups.   9. Name Change

    We recently had an employee get married which resulted in a name change. She could not log in under her old or new name. I looked in the on-line help to see how to set this up so we wouldn't lose any of her time entry history and there was no reference to it. Since we are using Active Directory, we could not change the name in the properties for the employee. Dovico support showed me how easy it was to fix this by bringing up the Active Directory screen and highlighting her name in the "Employees to be synchronized"…

  10. Custom field should show first item in list

    On the project properties page for custom fields that are in list boxes -- please have the first selected item shown. Otherwise people sometimes assume that nothing is selected. By scrolling to the first selected item people will avoid this and won't have to interact with the list box to see what has been selected.

  15. Hierarchy of expense entry

    Possibly have expenses a little more customizable - maybe the ability to develop a hierarchy of expenses: "per diem meals" then under that "bkfast", "lunch", etc... just to make the pull down list easier to navigate. Also, would love the ability to show certain expense categories for certain employees and change certain categories to default to "reimbursable".

  17. Sub-totals for selected items (project workspace)

    Add the option to display a sub-total. Currently you get a summary of the whole project. If you select a project and any combination of employee and task - it would be nice to see a sub-total for the employee / task combination. E.g. If you select just a task you get a sub-total for just that task; OR if you select just an employee you get a sub-total for that employee; OR if you select an employee and a task you get a sub-total for the employee and task.

  18. Expand Field (Actual Time/Costs view)

    Couple of suggestions for the actual time & cost view: 1 Increase the size of the fields in the dropdown lists. Currently Project and Task are 250 character fields in the database but it looks like only the first 20ish characters are displayed. Added to this, the Project has the client added to the start.

  19. Limit time entry within working hours

    Keep the upper limit of time per day of hours to say 8:30 hours and the way to inform the timesheet for bank holidays not to allow employees to record time for that period?

  20. Limit time entry on some tasks (within predetermined hours)

    Allow a task to automatically generate the time frame allowed to book hours.  For example, Task: Morning check.  Users must apply a time strip between 8:00AM-10:00AM.
