  1. How to improve the billing concept increasingly:
    1. Make a selection of the projects including the option ALL projects
    2. Make a selection of the billing period (from - to)
    3. The result is a list of ALL projects and a drill down list of ALL billable hours (detailed like now)
    4. All the hours are checked on, so you only need to uncheck the special ones
    5. Export to report/ Datawarehouse

    I think this works must easier than the other way around

  2. Add a search feature, wrapping of titles and the ability to maximize the window. Currently we can't use this feature easily because we can't read the whole title of the project (we don't have controll/flexibility in the way our projects are named)

  3. We use a lot of categories and every time we go to approve a staff members entries we have to adjust the screen separators to see all of their entries. This has to be done for EVERY screen refresh, when the submission or staff member changes. On a busy week this can see me moving the screen separators over 300 times! Can we not have the frame layout remembered somehow?

  4. Under Menu>Views(tab)>Time & Expences>Actual Time & Costs; There are dropdown list for Project, Task and Employee filtering.
    However these dropdown lists only display the first 21 characters and most of the time (for Projects / Tasks) are un-usable to find a unique item.

    My suggestion is the add a tool tip window displayed on mouse_over for a list item, which displays the full text.

    It would also be great if the currect selection is concatenate together in the top margin. Similar to that avaiable in the Time Calendar when reviewing an employee's single day time sheet.

  5. We have existing job schedule reports, which use custom fields as part of the selection criteria.

    When you select a report on an employee custom field and schedule the report, if a new employee is added to the custom field the new employee will not be included on the report. You have to go into the scheduled report job and reselect the custom field again to include the new employee.

  6. Automatically assign employees to newly added tasks of a task group. Currently you can only update a task group in all projects with a new task if you select the MORE button on the form where you generate a new task. It would be very helpful if there would be another option which would assign for each project also the employees of a task group automatically to each newly added task. This would save a lot of time in case there is a need for adding new tasks.

  7. Our accrual rates change based on the years of service for the employee. We would like to see a function that would automatically select a new rule to apply a new accrual rate based on the years of service.

  9. Our task descriptions are onften long, and often contain the same first few descriptor words. It would be a great help if the App could rotate on the IPhone to be able to read longer task descriptions.

  10. We would like to see some way in which we could associate a employee with a state in which they work for tax purposes. We have employees doing work in different states and need to bill/track their time and expenses based on the state where they work.

  12. Being a designing firm, everyday about 10 -15 projects get closed at our end. It’s really difficult to remember names of all projects. As a solution, if we can have an option to attach job's information (can be word, jpeg, excel, pdf etc) to each job, will be great help.

  13. It is rather laboriuous for an employee to have to do a separate Expense Sheet per project. Staff are having to create a number of sheets each month. Is there any way of having just one sheet per employee per month with a drop down option to assign an expense line item to a particular project?

  16. Hi,

    We have several users who all have different projects assigned to them. Sometimes we need to add a new task to all of our projects. It is difficult to do this, since some users have some projects that other users don't. So you need to run the assignment report and add the new task for each employee seperatly thru quick assign. It would be helpful if there was a way to add a new task globally to all employees and to only the projects they have. Any suggestions? Thanks

  17. The stopwatch options are "start from previous" or "start now." I want another option, to "start from a specific time I can set manually." So, when I forget to start stopwatch, and prior end time is not the right starting point, I can set start time manually and have timer track from there. I need this all the time.

  18. Please add a "Bi-Weekly" option to the scheduler similar to the Windows Task Scheduler

    We have a bi-weekly pay period. I need to send an email notification and report every 2 weeks on Wednesday. I would need to set the Start Date to coincide with the second Wednesday of our two-week pay period.

  19. the ability to reject a task with different reasons, on different days, such as ' monday--bill to project A' Tuesday, bill to project B. approve with exceptions only allows one reason, for all rejected time.

    another one for you, here's some improvements which relate to Project Planning view:

    project planning view - line/column head to show current date (change the header to red for example)

    more right click options in project planning, eg insert, delete etc.

    scroll wheel works in project planning

    screen for scrolling up/down the list
    project planning zoom function rezsizes fonts as it zooms out/in

    project planning linked entries should also allow for start date (cannot start until x has completed, but date aftyer that OK)

    Sept 16 2013 – The New Reporting within Dovico Timesheet v12 that will be released Fall 2013 will have the ability to print and export a gantt chart. I will leave your suggestion as active due to the other items noted.
