  2. I think it would be helfpul if all time showed in the Time Calendar, broken down by type (entered, submitted, rejected, approved) and with a Grand Total. When I am looking at when people missed time it is hard to tell if they didn't enter the time or simply didn't submit it. Being able to see all these in the Tiem Calendar would address this.

  3. We have been challenged with time being moved and negatively impacting reports on the project dollars after the invoice was completed. As part of the invoicing cycle, the time in the DB should be locked out so it can no longer be moved or adjusted. This issue has created some major headaches internally. A system similar to the employee timelockout could be established based on invoices

  4. For instance, when vacation is added into the Planning Module, all projects that the employee is working on need to be leveled to reflect the new availability. If that employee is working on numerous projects it becomes cumbersome to level, save and publish each and every one each time.

  5. As as system administrator for Dovico, it will be very handy and to have the option to select multiple users where you can show /hide assignment at the same time.

    The main use of this is say for example there is a change on task assignment for a certain department on specific time frame so it is very hard to do manually hiding assignments at employee level if you have 40 employees

  6. Project Planning - Ability to assign Project Management Hours that encompass the length of the entire project after balancing by week of the project. Currently the hours either are dumped at the beginning of the project, or when linked to tasks do not provide time slots for each week a project is worked on.

  9. Projects can be setup and tracked individually but a manager can not see the overall programme of projects in one view. A 'consolidated view' feature would allow all current projects to be viewed in one project area.

  10. It would be nice if, in the Job Scheduler, you could filter "available employees" in the recipient tab based on software access or custom fields.

    Business case: We like to send out reminders every week to anyone who has not entered at least 40 hours for the prior week; however, we do not want to send this to people with no system access at all or to directors who do not enter time. These people still show in the "available employees" field though. Taking the time and going through a list of 100 or more persons would be uneccessary with…

  13. I need a keyword filter which can be used on the Project list within Quick Assign.

    For example, all of our Clients follow the same Project structure.

    The Project structure is as follows:

    1. Design
    2. Implementation
    3. Pre-Study
    4. Production

    When using quick assign to assign employees to the correct Projects, I find myself having to look through the list for all the Projects which include the word, for example Design.

    What is desperatly missing is a keyword filter, in this example I could filter the Project list for keyword Design.

  14. You cannot link multiple tasks into one task, it will only keep the last task linked.

    IE.
    Task A and Task B are both required before Task C can commence. The current version will only allow one of A or B to be linked to C.

    It works the other way in that you can have Task A linked to Task B and Task C

    This would be very useful as often projects have multiple tasks that are required to be completed before the next task can begin.

  15. At the moment, if you have an existing team assigned to a number of tasks/projects, you have to manually update the assignments individually at the task level one by one if you add a new member to the team.

    In other words, if you add a new member to a team, that new member is not automatically assigned to the tasks of which that team is currently assigned to.

    Can we please enable the task assignment to also be automatically updated whenever a team update is performed?

  16. We have recently started to use the multi-currency features of DOVICO. Our default currency is the British pound (GBP). This works on invoices, etc., but when entering a new client-matter the default currency is now the Euro (EUR). Apparently setting the default currency as GBP only works with some features, and not for others. It does not work for the Budget Wizard, which seems to simply work alphabetically based upon the name of the currency. We have tried re-naming GBP, but the wizard uses the hard-coded currency name.

    Default currency should mean just that, and should consistently work throughout DOVICO.

  17. So much of the time I write in my time - only to find I've assigned it to the wrong study. Rather than having all studies look the same, color coding studies would reduce errors.

  19. In quick assign tasks are relevant to only certain project codes. When I pick a project I should only see the relvant tasks.
    eg our projects are often classes of work eg Support - therefore I only want to be able to pick Support tasks

  20. How to improve the billing concept increasingly:
    1. Make a selection of the projects including the option ALL projects
    2. Make a selection of the billing period (from - to)
    3. The result is a list of ALL projects and a drill down list of ALL billable hours (detailed like now)
    4. All the hours are checked on, so you only need to uncheck the special ones
    5. Export to report/ Datawarehouse

    I think this works must easier than the other way around
