Add as a date parameter for monthly "Regenerate new report after (#) weeks
We do not invoice at month end nor on the same date each month. I cannot set up a monthly auto report with the current date options.

Have an active / non-active records filter
Setting a filter that specifies only show active records or only show records that are not hidden. I can choose from values such as Task, Employee, project status (estimate / active / finished) but I cant show active or inactive records like I could in earlier versions.

the ability to have project groups for custom reports
Custom Reports, any report selected, I would love to be able to create groups of projects (add & delete) so when I run daily financials, I don't have to go through the list of 50 projects one by one every time.

Prior Month Date Option
I spend several hours each month adjusting the date feature in my reports. I run a monthly report after the end of each month and typically the crossover to the next month doesn't tie out. For example, after October ended (although I had clearly stated 10/1-31/2011 it auto populated my next reports to be 10/31/2011 - 11/30/2011 so for each report I had to manually change the from date to the correct date.

Nov 17 2011 – I understand Carl from our support department has been in touch with you and this is an issue with the Job Scheduler. Support will advise programming and I will update this issue once I can confirm that this is being addressed.
Nov 18 2011 – I have been advised by programming that this functionality is being included as part of a larger project and will be available in an upcoming release. -
Project filter in Time & Expense Entry Reports
There could be a Project filter in the Time & Expense Entry section under the Reports. That would make more reports accessible to the end users. (e.g. Project time - bar chart report)

We are working on the reporting aspect to provide additional flexibility and functionality. Which I believe may address your suggestion. This is scheduled for the next release.

Grab and move in Reports Explorer
In order to move a report to a different folder in Reports Explorer, I have to export the report and then import it to the desired folder. Suggest a grab and move feature such as provided in Windows Explorer.

Automatically assign employees to job scheduler reports, which have a selection criteria on Custom Fields
We have existing job schedule reports, which use custom fields as part of the selection criteria.
When you select a report on an employee custom field and schedule the report, if a new employee is added to the custom field the new employee will not be included on the report. You have to go into the scheduled report job and reselect the custom field again to include the new employee.

Reports explorer
Allow the window to be maximized (WHAT is the point of the tiny little window), add a search feature, add a filtering feature by status. Add the option to sort the projects alphabetically rather than by client first. We currently have over 4000 projects in Dovico (we will add about 1900 each year) and currently pulling a single report by project is a nightmare!

Feb 16 2012 – Discussed window re-sizing concerns with R&D Team lead and I was advised they are adding functionality to report criteria selection that will help you.

Expanding and collapsing of clients/projects in Reports
How about the same expanding and collapsing of clients and projects (as it appears in the Projects view) when trying to run a report.

As per your suggestion… We are adding functionality to the reports criteria selection that will make individual item selection a lot easier. This will be in the next release.

Search function in Report selection criteria.
And a search feature would be nice. (i.e. all projects that have the word Knox and all projects that have time against specific tasks and clients. Example. Client = TDL all flash development work)

Download a report then I need to login again
I can only download one report at a time and then I have to log off and back on again to get the next one. It is really getting old

Normalize by Day Report
If someone works more than 8 hours a day it should be normalized to 8 hours a day, not what the user has entered for total time. They want their users to enter their time accurately so they can use this information for future projects, but on the reports show 8 hours per day max.

Offer fixed start date for date range used by reports in a scheduled job
Our annual leave is taken from 1st April each year (e.g. 01/04/2011 to 31/03/2012).
We have a custom report which gathers information about employees annual leave (grouped by Team). When I create a scheduled job to run weekly and set the date range. I need to be able to keep the start date but move on one week the end date every time the report is scheduled to run.

Provide a total for hours on the invoice along with the dollar amounts.
On the invoice, it would be really helpful to also include a subtotal for the hours along with the dollars.

Improve calendar control
The current control for selecting dates from a calendar is cumbersome compared with some of the controls in applications such as in Microsoft Dynamics GP. It would be useful to be able to do things like: Click on the month name to zoom back to a view with the twelve months of the year, click on a month name on this view to zoom into a view of that month. Or, click on the year & go to a view with 12 years in it, with the current one in the middle, click on a year to zoom into that… more

adding a report to show unbilled hours for all time periods
We don't always bill hours in the month worked. We would like to be able to run a report that tells us if there are unbilled hours in a prior period.
