Adding a new task to projects
Hi,
We have several users who all have different projects assigned to them. Sometimes we need to add a new task to all of our projects. It is difficult to do this, since some users have some projects that other users don't. So you need to run the assignment report and add the new task for each employee seperatly thru quick assign. It would be helpful if there was a way to add a new task globally to all employees and to only the projects they have. Any suggestions? Thanks

Trevor, I have contacted our support department to see if they have any workarounds for your suggestion. Although your idea of an automatic assignment option for a new task is one approach; another approach that might help but be a little less direct would be; if the Quick Assign view showed the current assignments (dynamically) so that you don't need to run the assignment report (before or during any assignment changes). This second option may benefit companies looking to edit existing assignments as well.
